The Early Intervention Program is a voluntary program providing support and assistance to NSTU members who are working or on paid sick leave and are experiencing illness or injury. Services may include telephone contact, access to medical and vocational rehabilitation services, assistance with return-to-work planning, and guidance in applying for disability benefits, if appropriate.

For further information, NSTU members are directed to the member section of the NSTU website.  After logging on using your NSTU username and password you will find details of the EIP under the “Benefits” menu. To contact the Early Intervention Program, please phone 1-800-565-6788 (477-5621 local) or email eip@nstu.ca.
